"Crocodiles" the sub family of crocodile is Crocodylinae, true crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Crocodylinae in which all its members are considered true crocodiles is classified as a biological sub family. A wide sense of the term crocodile, Crocodylidae that includes Tomistoma, is not used in this article. The term crocodile here applies only to the species within the sub family of Crocodylinae. The term is sometimes used even more loosely to include all extant numbers of the order Crocodilia, which includes Tomistoma, the alligators and caimans , the gharials  and all other living and fossil Crocodylomorpha. These are the jaw-dropping images that could have cost a courageous Russian photographer his life. There are many types of crocodile.

We have a video filmed by Mike Korostelev. He traveled to Banco Chinchorro in Mexico in the hope of getting close up snaps of American crocodiles in their natural habitat  and that's exactly what he got. The American crocodile is considered an endangered species in nearly all parts of its North, Central, and South American range. Survey data, except in the United States, is poor or nonexistent, but conservationists agree that illicit hunting and habitat depletion has reduced numbers of this wide ranging reptile to critical levels. He got to capture an amazing clip. The nine foot long crocodile which circled him, not only circled him and it got so close it rooted his camera and even touched him with its tail. But far from being scared, the photographer was delighted with his deadly encounter.

He said that it was not an accidental meeting, the main purpose of my trip was to capture an American crocodile in its natural environment .Mr Korostelev traveled to a remote fisherman's hut and stayed there with a group of other photographers who captured the crocodiles with their cameras. He said that when crocodiles came closer to them for their hunt, he immediately jumped into the water with his camera and spent as much time as possible. Even for some times they stayed for three hours. However we know that crocodile are deadly and dangerous wild animal.
