Nepalese beauties in swimsuit in international contests-Part 2

It was very rare for Nepalese models to be seen in swimsuit. None of the models had posed in swimsuit for any modelling or any beauty contest that was organised inside Nepal and neither any organizers had such requirements. But the international level of beauty and talent  contests with big international title has a kind of compulsory to pose in swimsuit. Nepalese participants in such contests started to pose in swimsuit then swimsuit trend was started and now it’s common for posing in swimsuit even in national level of modelling activities.

In Nepal, it is usual for Miss Nepal beauty contest to suffer from criticism of swimsuit from some women rights related NGOs and few political parties. Despite their protest and criticism there is  no sign of any effect on Nepalese booming glamour industry. Let’s see few Nepalese models posing in swimsuit for camera attending international level of beauty contest.

As we have already viewed some of the image collection of Nepalese beauties in swimsuit attending international competition in part one in recent years. In the last decade although non of the Nepali beauty participants had missed to attended international contents as far as they get any opportunities but doesn’t present themselves in full swimsuit as other contestants. They usually cover their bottom part with either some kind what we call shawl in common language or wear swimsuit that cover their bottom. Nepalese society had not totally accepted a swimsuit in any way for Nepalese women. I have collected some images of contestants from Nepal and presenting themselves in international competitions in swimsuit.

These are the models who were among the first to present themselves in swimsuit in international level. In those days it these models have to dare to pose in swimsuit because of the conservative nature of Nepalese society but the time had changed a lot in just above a half a decade of time.  Slowly the numbers has raised to hundreds including in national level of modelling projects.
